This month will offer some amazing shows and I am so excited! First, I’m performing with my main gal, Wanda Bones, in the 1st Annual Oregon Burlesque Festival on Friday August 1st at Dante’s. The next show will be my first time participating with Rue Royale Burlesque! This month’s show will feature Iva Handfull and will take place on Friday August 8th at the Star Theatre. I’ll be in the Peekaboo Preview portion of the show AND I get to model for Tatyana Designs in a special Rue Royale Fashion Show!
Pastie Pageant Debut!
Zora Phoenix and I are co-producing an eight week performance series called PASTIE PAGEANT, working to help burlesque & boylesque performers build skills and try new things all in a show environment, with a touch of pageantry for silly fun! Think RuPaul’s Drag race meets the art of burlesque with a dash of Drop Dead Gorgeous!
Running Thursdays at 9pm from August 14 – October 2, performers are given a musical theme for the following week and a random skill in which to incorporate into their act! Extra points for creativity and inventiveness will help sweeten the pot, as the most creative will win a prize each week based on audience ballots and our panel of permanent and rotating judges… and the grand prize? $500 cash OR a full ride to BurlyCon, the national burlesque convention in Seattle!
In the mix will be Crafty Challenges, Duet Dalliances, and more fun games to liven up this creativity exercise mashed up into a pearly performer pageant!
